We are seeking candidates with a doctorate (or equivalent experience) in a relevant subject, as well as excellent knowledge and understanding of ethical procedures and GDPR & experience of undertaking qualitative research interviews
You will take a key role in the delivery of the research project: ‘We don’t know what we don’t know’: exploring social care on the margins (NIHR204234). The project is collaboration between The University of Sheffield; Manchester Metropolitan University; Northumbria University; Sunderland People First and Sheffield Voices (advocacy organisations for people with learning disabilities); Sibs (the charity for brothers and sisters of disabled people) and RosCenSis Productions, a research and film production company.
The post requires a researcher with experience of and/or willingness to learn: co-producing research; literature searching and report writing; undertaking qualitative research interviews; analysing qualitative interview data; ethical research and of dissemination and public engagement. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to work across an interdisciplinary team.
