Research Assistant in Microbial Bioinformatics

Fixed Term Position - 8 months

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Research Assistant to join the pathogen evolution group of Conor Meehan within the Department of Biosciences. This post will focus on assisting the group with analysing Mycobacterium tuberculosis whole genome sequence data using a variety of bioinformatics approaches such as SNP calling pipelines and comparative genomics to detect transmission clusters and polyclonal infections.

Please note that this position can be held remotely within the UK if required. Remote work from outside the UK is not possible.
