Responsibilities:

As a Technical Specialist, you will be at the forefront of providing expert services to our valued customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Technical Enquiries: Providing prompt and accurate responses to technical queries from customers, both internal and external, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally.
  • Customer Advice: Offering expert guidance and recommendations to customers regarding our electrical lighting products, helping them make informed decisions that align with their specific requirements.
  • Training: Conducting training sessions for our sales teams and customers to enhance their understanding of our electrical lighting solutions, empowering them to effectively communicate product features and benefits.
  • Product Testing: Collaborating with our product development team to conduct thorough testing and evaluation of our electrical and lighting products, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
  • Product Development Support: Assisting in the development and improvement of our electrical lighting products by providing valuable insights and technical expertise throughout the design and testing phases.
  • Tech Sheet Development and Review: Creating and reviewing technical documentation, including specifications and installation instructions, to facilitate seamless integration and usage of our products.
  • Specifying Product Requirements: Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand electrical and building plans, and translating those requirements into precise product specifications.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Hands-on Electrical Experience: Demonstrated experience in electrical work, preferably with a focus on domestic or commercial property installations. Proficiency in interpreting electrical plans and troubleshooting electrical systems is essential.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of electrical lighting systems, products, and technologies. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently, employing a logical and systematic approach.
