We are looking to recruit a Sustainable Buildings Researcher to join our team.
The Leeds Sustainability Institute is one of the UK’s leading sustainable buildings research teams and has exceptional expertise in delivering applied building physics, building performance evaluation, energy, thermal, hygrothermal modelling, internal and external environmental monitoring, and social science research projects around low and net zero cities.
We are looking for someone with strong commitment to working in the field of sustainability who is ambitious and has potential to grow with the team. You’ll need to be a team player and enthusiastic and have understanding of, and the potential to contribute to, all three research themes in the LSI research portfolio: Sustainable Behaviour, Sustainable Buildings and Sustainable Urban Environments: (https://www.leedsbeckett.ac.uk/research/leeds-sustainability-institute/).
Ideally you will have experience of some of our data collection and analysis methods, though we can support individuals to gain additional skills and knowledge they need.

This is a fixed-term position to October 2025.
