Job description
You will join the School of Allied Health Professionals, Nursing and Midwifery, working with the Mesothelioma UK Research Centre (MURC) team. A Research Assistant is required to work on a systematic review in preparation for a funding application related to patient and carer experience of mesothelioma (30%/ 10.5 hours per week). The systematic review aims to evaluate the role of clinical nurse specialists in improving symptom control, health and quality of life outcomes for patients with certain rare cancers. The MURC is funded by the national charity, Mesothelioma UK. You will be joining a team of researchers committed to developing the evidence base on mesothelioma patient experience. We are looking for someone with experience in undertaking review work, knowledge of mesothelioma and understanding of the mesothelioma lived experience.
