Candidates with a good degree in psychology are invited to apply for the post of Graduate Research Assistant to join the team in the Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma (OxCADAT), Department of Experimental Psychology.
The post-holder will work closely with Professor Anke Ehlers on research evaluations of psychological treatments for posttraumatic stress disorder and related conditions and their roll-out into the NHS.
The successful applicant will assist in the administration of clinical trials of psychological treatments for posttraumatic stress disorder, liaise with a Clinical Trials Unit, edit training materials for a therapist training website and online therapy modules, liaise with web developers and users of the internet-delivered therapy, interview patients with PTSD, and will assist with data entry and analysis.
The post is full time and funded until 30th September 2025.
You will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, experience with structured clinical interviews, good understanding of computers and software, knowledge of statistics and experimental design. Prior experience with PTSD is desirable.
The closing date is midday on 13th March 2023. Interviews will be held on 22nd March.
