Applications are invited for a Research Assistant, to work with the NIHR-funded Community Healthcare MedTech and IVD Co-operative (MIC) led by Professor Gail Hayward on a research programme concerning diagnostics and medical technologies for use in community based healthcare settings
The successful applicant will support the diverse project work of the NIHR Community Healthcare MIC, which facilitates the development and evaluation of diagnostics and medical technologies in community healthcare settings. Responsibilities will include supporting delivery of research activities including primary data collection, statistical data analysis, qualitative interview work, conducting focused literature searches and reviews, and supporting the organisation of workshops and patient participation and involvement activities.
You will hold a degree in a medical sciences relevant subject and have some experience of contributing to research using systematic review, qualitative or data analysis methodologies, with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to prioritise and respond to competing project demands.
You will be based in the Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work but you may be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with your line manager
