About the role
In this role you will conduct research to model and analyse existing multimodal data of patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) using graph-based machine learning methods. You will be responsible for integrating data into a graph database that contains important entities such as patients and diseases with appropriate information and relationships between those entities. You will work to produce graph models that are appropriate to use with deep graph learning frameworks such as graph-convolutional networks and graph attention networks to uncover the complex relationships within the datasets.
Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting the research process and findings that will involve writing reports and research articles.
About you
The ideal candidate would be able to work independently as well as in a team, fostering effective communication, cooperation, and knowledge-sharing. The post-holder should prioritize integrity, honesty, and transparency in their work, maintaining the highest ethical standards throughout the research process. Being educated to degree-level or equivalent, you should be able to demonstrate strong statistical and mathematical aptitude with practical experience of applying research skills and techniques.Additional information
