Job description
Airline & Airport Audit Staff
About Us
Established in 1989, and based in London, Skytrax is the international air transport rating organisation advising global airlines and airports on issues of frontline product and customer service delivery.
Job Description
We are seeking staff to join our airline and airport audit research team. Experience in the aviation sector is preferred (but not essential), and some understanding of market research and/or product development is desirable. An experience of international air travel is an advantage and should be documented and demonstrated on request. A keen eye for detail and observational skills is critical, and due to the nature of the work, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they can work on their own initiative.
Audit work involves frequent global travel, and the candidate should be prepared to travel for periods of 5-7 days at a time. These are not positions where staff can expect to luxuriate in 5-Star overnight hotel stops or experience paid-for global sightseeing. So please, no dreamers or time-wasters!
Desirable skills/experience
- A keen eye for the smallest detail is critical
- Excellent timekeeping and diary management
- Knowledge of MS office
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Experience of global air travel (if claimed, this must be documented on request)
- Due to the nature of the work, successful candidates must be self-motivated and show they can work under their own initiative.
What you will get from us
- Experience in a very competitive industry
- Opportunity to work with major airlines/airports
- Career development for the right person
- Competitive pay and expenses (you will be paid for the days you travel)
Requirements
The position is based in the UK, principally flying from Heathrow Airport, and candidates must already live within easy commuting distance of Heathrow, and possess a UK or EU passport. Please note that persons who do not meet the stated location details shown above should not apply, and may not receive any response if they choose to do so.
Due to the unique nature of the work, the successful candidate will initially be engaged on the basis of a 3 month freelance trial to determine suitability for the work and lifestyle.
Interested
If you believe that you meet our requirements, please respond with your CV and covering letter, explaining why you should be considered, what personal strengths and benefits you can bring to the position, and why we should meet with you.
