The Research Assistant is an integral role within the quantitative research team. You will be part of a small team responsible for ensuring the quality of our in-house online surveys. This involves managing and co-ordinating the checking of questionaires, links, and dummy data prior to launch, and liaising with Research Managers to ensure the highest quality across all our surveys. Another part of this role is to support the delivery of our tracker outputs.
What you'll do:
- Quality checking of all our internally programmed online surveys to ensure Survey logic and routing works as per the signed-off script (and makes sense to the respondent)
- Question language/wording makes sense from a respondent perspective
- All soft launched survey data is pulling through correctly
- Any survey drop-out areas are identified and remedied to ensure maximum possible response rate
- Running tabulated aggregated analysis using Decipher/Focus Vision platform for key tracking surveys according to specifications – working with Research Managers to spec out and ensure analysis meets stakeholders requirements
- Liaising with our Analytics team to help runs scripts / apply weights to our Research data.
- Working with the Data Engineering and DP colleagues to ensure quality across all key trackers
What you'll bring:
- A proven track record of questionnaire design within a Research Team / Company
- A proven track record of data analysis and tabulation within a Research Team / Company
- Ability to understand survey logic, identify logic errors, and make logic recommendations
- Very strong attention to detail
- Extremely organised
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- Good communicator, confident in both written and verbal communications
- Demonstrate good listening skills, asking insightful questions and seeking further clarification where necessary
- Proficiency with FocusVision / Decipher platform or similar analysis platform such as Q
- An interest in modern procedural programming language (R, Python, VBA, etc.) would be highly beneficial but not essential
