Salary range: from £29,341 to £31,772 per annum (dependent on skills, experience and qualifications)
Hours: 35 per week (part-time hours considered)

We are seeking a Research Assistant to conduct research for the project entitled 'Sleeping well, thinking well; do changes in sleep affect executive function in children with intellectual disability'.
You will support and study sleep and executive functions in children with intellectual disability which will include recruiting participants and liaising with families as well as testing sleep and executive functions.
To be successful, you should have a BSc in psychology, neuroscience, medicine, or a related discipline. You will have a strong academic track record with clear evidence of independent thought and the ability to work effectively and efficiently whilst managing your own workload. You will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak to a variety of different stakeholders (parents, children, colleagues etc) as well as a background of working with children and families.
We will also consider candidates who would prefer part-time hours, on a slightly longer contract basis. A DBS check will be undertaken on the successful candidate.
