This is a fixed-term contract ending on 31st July 2024. 17 hours per week.
About You and the Role
We are seeking applications for a part-time 1-year Research Assistant (17 hours per week) to assist with supporting the evaluation of knowledge exchange between members of NTU Psychology and the Anti-Bullying Alliance as part of an Innovative Knowledge Exchange Funded project.
The role will include evaluating events for key stakeholders, coordinating, facilitating, and analysing focus groups with children/young people and teachers, undertaking secondary data analysis, and gathering other supporting evidence of knowledge exchange.
You will be part of the NTU team working with the Anti-Bullying Alliance and you will have the opportunity to join the bullying and aggressive behaviour research group. You will be supervised by Professor Lucy Betts and work closely with other members of the team.
An undergraduate degree in psychology or similar is required. Candidates with experience of quantitative and qualitative research will be preferred. Research experience with children/young people is preferred but not required. Strong communication and inter-personal skills are essential.
