About Us:
Cell Guidance Systems is a Cambridge-based biotechnology company. We work in collaboration with universities and institutes in the UK and abroad to develop products and services that allow scientists to achieve their research goals. These products and services, which include hydrogel matrices, growth factors, exosome purification kits and cytogenetics services, are sold globally via our website, sales offices and distributors.

The position:
The successful candidate, will work in our labs under the supervision of senior colleagues. They will be required to present at team meetings, help with routine tasks required for running a lab, interact with customers through email and meetings and compile reports.
About you:
The ideal candidates will be dynamic, collaborative, adaptive, self-motivated, proactive and passionate about developing scientific concepts and technologies. They will have strong documentation, oral and interpersonal skills, show attention to detail, and have an analytical, methodical mind. Candidates must be educated at least to BSc level with practical experience in basic molecular biology techniques. Experience in cell culture and in-vitro assay development is an advantage, although these techniques will be taught.

Cell Guidance Systems is located on the Babraham Research Campus, one of the most dynamic biotech locations in Europe, and home to more than fifty companies working in a diverse areas of biomedical research. The Campus is close to Cambridge University, Addenbrookes Hospital and the adjacent Biomedical campus.
