Are you a customer-friendly, hospitality professional looking to develop you existing skills in new, vibrant locations? Stafffinders are partnering with a variety of Café venues across Glasgow and surrounding areas that are seeking talented Café Assistants for temporary posts.

Your rate of pay and hours of work

The hourly rate of pay for this role is £10.42 and is paid on a weekly basis, with holiday pay accrued on top. These roles offer flexible shifts of your choice, Monday to Sunday, meaning you can pick up hours when it suits you!

Responsibilities in your new role

You will have a key role in the day-to-day operation of the outlets, with quality customer service at the forefront of all you do. Whether it be opening and closing procedures, stock management, preparing and serving hot and cold food and beverages, barista work, managing the till or clearing tables and stocking up, you will find plenty of variety to keep you on your toes!

Your personality, experience and qualifications

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 6 months of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume café environment, along with strong barista experience.

As an individual you should have excellent attention to detail, possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude and be able to meet targets in a highly demanding environment.

Candidates should have highly effective communication skills, speak English to a high standard and have excellent motivation.
