This is a fixed term, full time appointment until 31 October 2023.
We are looking for a research assistant to help us deliver the coordination of the final stages of an exciting project.
The Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development (CBCD) is a world-leading unit that focuses on an integrated understanding of the neural and cognitive mechanisms that drive behavioural development. We currently coordinate a Marie-Curie European Training Network that focuses on understanding how social interactions shape social brain development.
You will assist with developing the scientific and impact reports, help to manage deliverable tracking and financial reports from multiple European partners, and coordinate information sharing with the funder.
There will be opportunities to help with infant neurocognitive testing. This will provide excellent experience in academic writing, scientific collaboration and grant management and would be an ideal role for someone seeking research experience before applying for Masters or PhD programmes, or seeking to build a career in research management
Ideally, you will have:
- Effective oral and written communication skills,
- Ability to write up research findings and discuss these with colleagues/subjects as appropriate.
- Proficient in standard packages (Microsoft Office, Emails)
Remuneration:
Grade 6 of the College's London Pay Scale which is £35,374 rising to £40,348 per annum.
The salary quoted is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
