ABOUT THE JOB
Contribute to the development of the Insight and Engagement function within Strategy, Insight and Innovation in Police Scotland.
Design and undertake research and survey analysis for Police Scotland, including qualitative and quantitative approaches.
Interpret complex data sets and translate into strategic and practical insights for informing Executive decision-making, policy and practice across all areas of policing.
ABOUT YOU
You will be educated to HNC level or equivalent, with knowledge of SPSS and/or other statistical analysis and social research tools and knowledge of NVivo and/or other tools for analysis of qualitative data.
You will have experience of preparing detailed research reports, of using insight, analytical and problem solving skills to resolve strategic and operational challenges, of pro-actively engaging internally and externally in order to collate and then present findings both in writing and verbally and the ability to support and guide the work of a number of work streams.
This full time role is fixed term for up to 6 months and will require Standard Recruitment vetting. You will work 35 hours a week, Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00.
