The Particle Technology Research Group at the University of Sheffield (http://www.ptgsheffield.com/) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the diverse research activities of the group. This research group tackles industrial challenges which affect everyday lives, and works across pharmaceutical, foods and battery manufacturing. In this exciting role, you will work with group researchers and partners to ensure smooth running of the group. Your role includes organising and supporting regular meetings, updating information on a range of platforms and taking detailed minutes. You will organise events involving the public and centre partners. You will support the group leader with diary management.
You should have excellent communication skills and be confident liaising with people from a variety of backgrounds and roles. For this role you should be educated to at least A-level or equivalent. This is an excellent opportunity to apply existing skills whilst gaining experience across a broad range of functions in a vibrant environment.
