Job description
We look forward to reading your application for the role of Reprographics Assistant - 20 hours per week.
Working as part of our Print Team you will utilise reprographics and associated print-room equipment to produce, secure, pack and despatch documents, exam papers, training course materials and other publications, for internal and external circulation to meet agreed customer specifications.
Person specification
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Utilising specialist print, print-finishing, guillotining, laminating, and binding equipment safely to produce high-quality documents including exam papers, training course materials, reports and other publications for internal and external circulation.
- Undertaking minor graphics and artwork design using digital processes to enhance the quality of source material for print and reprographic publication.
- Responding to enquiries and liaise with internal and external clients at all levels to advise on and agree time, quality and volume requirements for reprographics and print orders, to provide a high level of customer confidence in the Reprographics Unit.
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
- Practical experience of working in a digital print environment including working knowledge of production print machinery and print/ reprographics processes (Preferred but not essential as full training will be given).
- Customer focus: confident in dealing with customers face-to-face and meeting their requests.
- Experience of working in a busy, pressured environment with tight timescales to turn round client requests
