Reprographics and Administrative Assistant
Salary: Grade 5, point 5 – 7, £6,959 - £10,307 pro-rata, depending on hours
(£21,575 - £22,369 FTE)
Contract: Term time plus one week, to be agreed
Term: Permanent
Hours: Job share:between 14 and 20 hours a week
Starting date: 17th April 2023, or by negotiation
Reporting to: HR Manager
Burford School is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with previous administrative experience to join our office team. In the main this job-share role will entail completing reprographics tasks, however assisting at Reception and providing administrative support for the school will also be an integral part of the role.
It will be important to stay ahead of the game, pre-empt needs and make sure tasks are completed smoothly, efficiently and professionally. You will enjoy working as part of a team and take pride in your work, continually looking for improvements and efficiencies in processes.
You should have experience of working in a busy environment and be able to demonstrate strong customer service, administration and communication skills. You will have a good knowledge of different PC packages, be able to prioritise and organise your workload and be capable of meeting tight and conflicting deadlines. You will be competent at using your own initiative and proactive at getting things done. You will also be flexible and happy coping with the ever-changing needs of a school.
The successful candidates will need to meet the person specification in order to be offered the post.
There is some flexibility regarding actual working hours, however initial preferences include working mornings only or two full days, to include a Monday.
There may be the opportunity for additional hours at times, depending on cover requirements.
