Reporting and Control Analyst

What you’ll do

  • Support the Financial Reporting & Analysis Manager in preparation of timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting, including statutory accounts.
  • Ownership of weekly and monthly Cognos reporting to Aurelius.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations as directed by the Reporting and Control Accountant, including analysis and investigation of reconciling items.
  • Ownership of the fixed asset register for both owned and right of use assets, monthly accounting, and reconciliation of respective balance sheet accounts.
  • Responsibility for calculation of, and management account reporting for a selection of overhead accounts.
  • Preparation of ONS returns as required.
  • Support on the provision of audit and tax deliverables as part of the annual audit and tax compliance work.
  • Sage X3 super user for report writing.
  • Other ad hoc tasks

What you’ve got

  • Part or qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Experience of Sage would be an advantage but not essential
  • Task orientated, able to meet deadlines and prioritise work accordingly
  • Experience of IFRS reporting
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Good time management skills
  • Proactive communicator
