Reporting and Control Analyst
What you’ll do
- Support the Financial Reporting & Analysis Manager in preparation of timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting, including statutory accounts.
- Ownership of weekly and monthly Cognos reporting to Aurelius.
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations as directed by the Reporting and Control Accountant, including analysis and investigation of reconciling items.
- Ownership of the fixed asset register for both owned and right of use assets, monthly accounting, and reconciliation of respective balance sheet accounts.
- Responsibility for calculation of, and management account reporting for a selection of overhead accounts.
- Preparation of ONS returns as required.
- Support on the provision of audit and tax deliverables as part of the annual audit and tax compliance work.
- Sage X3 super user for report writing.
- Other ad hoc tasks
What you’ve got
- Part or qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
- Experience of Sage would be an advantage but not essential
- Task orientated, able to meet deadlines and prioritise work accordingly
- Experience of IFRS reporting
- Good communication skills
- Experience of balance sheet reconciliations
- Good time management skills
- Proactive communicator
