Company Description: va-Q-tec Ltd specialises in high quality container rentals and services for Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Biotechnology companies. With increasing partnerships worldwide, va-Q-tec Ltd is becoming one of the leading global pharma cold chain container providers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing faults with va-Q-tec products.
  • Repairing or replacing faulty products and/or ordering new parts where necessary.
  • Carrying out regular maintenance and testing of products to ensure good working conditions, including cleaning where required.
  • Maintain records of repairs that have been performed.
  • Communicating product availability with internal departments, including status of repairs or maintenance work.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure own safety and others.
  • Loading and/or unloading deliveries of products according to safety protocols.
  • Communicating shipments of products by completing the receipt and release process.
  • Maintaining stock of spares and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Maintaining plant machinery including forklift, by completing required maintenance checks.
  • Ensuring a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, rules and procedures (including any relevant regulations and legislation).

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain standards in line with the requirements of the role and any va-Q-tec Ltd policies and procedures in place.
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be determined from time to time.
  • Work additional hours as may be required for the role, subject to prior discussion and agreement.

  • Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.

Required Experience:

  • Knowledge of tools and/or repair work.
  • Fork-lift license (desirable).

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
