Job description
An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Estates Department as an Apprentice Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician, helping to provide first-class facilities and estate services to Oakham Shool.
The apprentice will be enrolled on the Level 3 Plumbing & Domestic Heating Technician Apprenticeship at Stamford College with a typical completion time likely to be 48 months dependent on previous relevant experience. The course starts September 2023, but applicants will be considered to start work immediately allowing workplace induction & administration to take place before course commencement.
As an apprentice you will have full workers’ rights including a contract of employment, annual leave entitlement, and sick pay. You will work 37.5 hours per week, which includes 6 hours minimum attendance at Stamford College.
