The typical tasks, duties, and responsibilities of the renewable labourers are:

• Carrying out tasks that involve physical labour at many different construction projects
• Executing work with the use of relevant hand and power tools of all types
• Loading and unloading equipment to and from vehicles and construction sites
• Ensuring that materials are transported to workers with specific skills
• Clearing work areas before and after the completion of a construction project
• Ensuring that construction sites are kept clean and free of unwanted materials
• Arriving at the job site early to set it up and leaving the construction site last to ensure that the job site is clean and free of hazardous materials
• Taking measurements and carrying out calculations based on the measurement taken
• Assisting specialized tradesmen who are also working on the same construction project.
