Caring for older people in the Borders is extremely important to Eildon.
Are you committed to delivering excellent service provision for older people, and can you support our tenants to stay connected to their local community and help them to find creative solutions to the challenges they may face?
We have numerous positions that we require relief cover for across our Sheltered and Extra Care facilities in the Scottish Borders, these are located in Hawick, Galashiels and Peebles. Iit would be ideal if you are able to cover all sites, but do detail when applying the role and location if you are unable to do this.
POSITION: Relief Assistant Co-ordinator
The work is varied and interesting and is best suited to individuals who enjoy connecting with different people with kindness and understanding whilst demonstrating an organised approach to day to day tasks.
POSITION: Relief Scheme Assistant
You will ensure all communal areas are clean, hygienic and tidy and assist in the provision of the meals service while working as part of a team to provide a warm, friendly and safe environment for
tenants.
POSITION: Relief Support Worker
You will provide a high standard of care and support to clients with learning and physical disabilities; to preserve and promote clients’ quality of life and individual rights to privacy, respect, choice and independence.
POSITION: Relief Support Worker (Extra Care Housing)
You will assist in the provision of the Extra Care Housing Service, by ensuring tenants are provided with the means to maintain independent tenancies in a warm, friendly, and safe environment, directly supporting tenants in their homes by providing individual advice, practical housing support assistance, direct personal and emotional care.
POSITION: Relief Cook
You will be responsible for the preparing and production of a varied and nutritious meal plan for tenants and customers.
POSITION: Relief Catering Assistant
You will assist with the preparation, production and serving of a varied and nutritious meal plan for tenants and customers.
These are relief posts to cover staff absences therefore there are no guaranteed hours and work is offered on an as and when needed basis. Hours of work and shifts vary and can cover a seven-day week. We can offer flexibility in shift patterns to meet your availability. Opportunities to achieve the relevant mandatory training requirements are offered.
