We are seeking Security Officers to join our team, as a Relief Security Officer at an iconic national venue in London to join our team protecting the integrity of the building and the venue's assets and provide uplift for events!
The successful candidates will be ambitious individuals who are flexible with their time, they will provide uplift/cover for our team and so will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the client’s employees, visitors, and associated property. Relief Security Officers will be tasked with patrolling designated areas, responding to safety and security threats, and establishing a security presence across the site.
Successful candidates will join our team to cover or provide event uplift on an ad-hoc basis. The role involves working day or night shifts. 12.25 hr shifts are available, but varied shift lengths will also be available depending on need for uplift for events.
Responsibilities will involve gate duties, controlling access and egress, and patrolling buildings.
£12.63 per hour. Ad-hoc basis. Relief/Cover and Events.
Successful candidates will need to:
- Engage confidently with customers at all levels, providing them with a positive experience within a friendly environment of First Response Group.
- Liaise with management and operations teams.
- Conduct regular patrols of the site on foot, ensuring all occurrences are logged on return to the security base.
- Ensure all occurrences/incidents within your duty are recorded.
- Understand and follow site procedures and escalation.
- First line response: Able to respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations across site.
- CCTV and Control Room duties.
- X-Ray screening.
- Key holding.
- Reception duties.
The role will also enable the successful candidate to pick up shifts at other contracts with varying pay rates, one of which is a location in Central London.

Essential Skills:
- Must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Fully comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history screenable to BS7858.
- Must have a high level of self-presentation.
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Excellent ability to engage with clients, staff and public.
- High levels of written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer focus.
