LIVE WORK SUPPORT
We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable person to provide relief cover for our team in Warminster, to help deliver a high-quality service to our customers.
About the role
As a Relief Library Assistant, your duties will include floorwalking, helping the public use computers and self-service machines, promoting and shelving stock, computerised counter routines and providing information.
You will be part of a relief team who we call on to cover leave and sickness, including Saturdays and evenings up till 7pm in this library and if necessary, Westbury and Trowbridge Libraries.
About you
Previous library experience is not essential as we will train you in all aspects of library work and help you to develop your IT and customer care skills.
You will need to possess at least 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths, grade A - C or equivalent and be flexible to Warminster Library opening hours which are: Mon 10:00 – 19:00, Tue 9:30 – 17:00, Wed 9:30 – 12:30, Thu 9:30 – 19:00, Fri 9:00 – 17:00, Sat 9:00 – 16:00.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 23rd March 2023.
Where possible interviews are virtual, but due to the nature of this role interviews will be in person. Current public health advice is followed for candidate and employee safety.
