The Opportunity


To manage and deliver a Release in one of Diligenta’s flagship transformation programmes. The role is directly client facing. A Release consists of multiple work-streams and are likely to implement over 18 months to 2 years. Programmes will represent major change across several areas of the business.


You’ll be:

  • Responsibility for delivery of a Release in one of Diligenta’s Transformation programmes, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, to scope.
  • Works with Programme Director, Programme Sponsor and stakeholders to understand strategic context and to define and agree Programme objectives, scope, approach and an appropriate governance regime
  • Creates and implements robust Release planning reporting and control processes, in line with Diligenta Transformation methodology.
  • Identify financial and operating risks and issues affecting the Release and the business, putting appropriate measures in place to effectively manage and control
  • Manage interfaces with external stakeholders (clients, business partners, regulators etc.) in order to ensure full integration of solutions.
  • Overall responsibility for the development and agreement of budget and expenditure associated with the Release, ensuring that costs are contained within agreed levels and that the benefits are realised.
  • Lead, manage & motivate large, diverse teams and other resources and train such staff as may be assigned or seconded to work on the Release, including personal development and mentoring of colleagues at more junior levels.
  • Director, Programme Sponsor, Project Board and Stakeholders both verbally a through written reports.
  • Responsible for chairing governance boards and championing governance processes

You should apply if you have experience in:
  • Proven experience of project/programme management at a senior level in a complex business environment.
  • Experience of managing multi-million pound initiatives with major business risks/benefits.
  • Track-record of successful business-wide programme delivery in any business context
  • Understanding of leading edge programme management, methodology and best practice.
  • Ability to lead large, diverse teams of people.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships at the highest level (internal & external)
