Our client, a prestigious, award-winning, customer communications company, is looking for a talented, ambitious, and experienced Operations Director to join their team and oversee the renowned flagship site, based in Sunderland.

In this key role, the Operations Director, is responsible for the running and the day-to-day operational performance on-site. You will work as part of the senior management team and embody a tenacious and enthusiastic leadership style and bring fresh ideas to ignite passion amongst the on-site staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Maximise the operational team’s output by brilliant adaptive leadership skills direct and indirect teams.
• Continue to build and develop the operational function
• To have responsibility for the Operational Excellence across the site
• To work with the wider departments to ensure service levels are continuously improved
• Report and effectively use Management Information from operational processes with the full team, making data led decisions
• The management and implementation of excellent change load, driving stability through upcoming strategic plans for the site
• Balancing the demands of our clients

Key Skills required

• A proven track record of operational success and leadership
• Commercially and technically astute with a prove experience of budget control/management
• A passion for continuous improvement and people development
• Excellent communication skills and an innate ability for problem solving
• A passion for driving delivery and inspiring people across an organisation
