As Release Manager you will be responsible for managing project delivery pipelines and code deployments across difference environments. You will be the gatekeeper for various development, testing and production environments and will be ensuring the quality of code deliveries across the project.
In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that the correct governance processes are followed and that the Development and Testing teams have met all criteria required to release code.
The Release Manager role encompasses a wide range of skills and requires a good level of interaction across a number of cross-functional areas and at all levels of the project from junior members to executive leadership. Release Management is at the heart of our Delivery Model and is responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of code (Features) from development, though functional, integration and regression testing and into Production.
A good working knowledge of Agile and CI/CD is essential for this role.
You will be working with a diverse range of skilled people across our Busines Analysis, Development, Appian, Testing, Data, MI and Cloud teams and the ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team is also essential
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects delivering technology solutions across KPMG's Technology practice.
