THE ROLE
As part of the Retention and Engagement team, the Relationship Manager (known internally as Membership Communication Manager) supports the retention of members and the wider membership provision through the creation of journeys delivering an outstanding member experience increasing supporter satisfaction, engagement and long-term commitment.

This post is responsible for leading the member communications strategy and execution of appropriate communications to members (circa 300,000). The Relationship Manager will be required to work closely with colleagues to ensure our members receive timely communications in a way they wish to receive them. With the timely introduction of a new CRM system, it would be desirable for the postholder to have experience in the marketing angle of implementing a new CRM as this will impact future ways of working and communicating with our members.

This is a Hybrid working role, where you’ll work part of your time at home and part of the time from our Head Office based in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Our Hybrid Working Policy is flexible, and the frequency of time spent in your contracted office will vary across teams and job roles.

THE CANDIDATE
Understanding the membership audience, their behaviours and motivations, you will be able to project manage communications for our members to receive that inspire them to stand up for our cause. Your ability to interpret reports and statistics enhancing future communications will be vital to this role.

You will be robust, resilient, assertive and able to adapt to a fast -paced environment. You will demonstrate strong communication skills and attention to detail as you will be working with internal and external colleagues often from initial concept through to distribution using your previous experience in a communication role.

You will have experience of delivering member or supporter communications through a variety of on and offline channels and therefore require effective copy and proofing abilities and a track record of working with suppliers and agencies particularly print fulfilment ..
