Relationship Manager
Cardiff
As a Barclays Relationship Manager you will manage, develop and grow your own portfolio of client. This role will allow you to showcase your experience in delivering exceptional sales and business performance through building and maintaining long term relationship by gaining trust and sustaining sound risk management. Within this role, you will look to proactively maximizing opportunities within the local market in order to attract and gain a new customer to the bank each year

• Demonstrating excellent communications skills in both formal and informal settings
- Driving the sales and growth of the portfolio through regular reviews with the clients to maximize full business potential
- Taking a pro-active approach in identifying customers’ needs and ensuring the best solution is provided to help them grow
- Building a solid rapport and level of trust with clients
- Using analytical skills to interpret internal information around your marketplace
- Supporting customers through the channel of their choice by continually educating them on options available to service their needs
• Pro-active and organised with the ability to handle a number of tasks simultaneously and prioritise accordingly
- Self-motivated, able to work on their own initiative and remain calm under pressure
- Proven relationship building experience
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills
• Enthusiasm and high levels of drive
- Industry knowledge and understanding of key drivers for business owners
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent client portfolio management experience
Where will you be working?
In the heart of the Historic City Centre which is easily accessible by train or car. Home to the Welsh Rugby team and the Principality Stadium. The city centre has undergone a number of redevelopment projects, including St. David's 2, which extended the shopping district southwards, creating 100 new stores and a flagship John Lewis, the only branch in Wales and the largest outside London.
