As a Relationship Director within the Social Housing sector, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients in line with the strategy for Social Housing within Corporate & Commercial Banking, with a focus on client acquisition, maintenance, relationship development and retention, together with management of all aspects of risk.
You'll demonstrate a client centric approach to deliver solutions for Social Housing clients and new to bank prospects to meet short and long terms needs working collaboratively with other areas of Santander UK to achieve this.

Demonstrating a client centric approach to deliver solutions for existing clients and new to bank prospects to meet their short and long term needs by working collaboratively with other areas of the organisation to achieve this
Developing and managing a portfolio of customer transactions, supporting clients, retaining, and growing business.
Building and managing external relationships promoting the reputation and image of Santander with customers and external stakeholders, including building a strong professional advisor network.
Approaching the role with a digital mindset, optimising use of digital tools including Salesforce, nCino and digital onboarding.
Delivering a consistent proactive approach to business development, both in relation to weekly new activity and the ownership of and conversation with their prospects.
What you’ll bring.
Line management experience with, coaching, development experience
Credit Analysis skills
It would also be nice for you to have.
Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems and Office 365.
Knowledge of the Social Housing sector.
Good organisational skills. Prioritises workload ensuring client and business deadlines are met.
Proven relationship management ability, including excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an optimistic mind set and an ability to inspire others to positively embrace challenges and promote Santander behaviours.

This is a permanent role. Santander supports a hybrid working model operating out of one of offices across the UK.

Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus
We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer
30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year
