Aries Healthcare Group is seeking compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Workers to join our growing team at Haydock House. We currently have vacancies for full-time, part-time and Bank roles. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care, support, and guidance to individuals with mental health challenges. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health conditions in a residential setting.
- Establish rapport and develop therapeutic relationships with residents, promoting their well-being and independence.
- Implement individual care plans and support strategies tailored to each resident's specific needs.
- Assist residents in daily activities, including personal care, medication management, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Promote a safe and supportive environment, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of residents.
- Actively engage residents in therapeutic activities, promoting social interaction, personal development, and community integration.
- Observe and monitor residents' behaviours, emotional state, and overall progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate professionals.
- Embrace and adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements governing mental health support services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care, daily notes, and incident reports.
