Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for the award winning Fife Rheumatic Diseases Unit based at Whyteman’s Brae Hospital, Kirkcaldy.

The FRDU is a Fife Wide Service and operates within biopsychosocial model of care and a personal outcomes approach. The rheumatology team consists of doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, occupational therapy support worker, pharmacist, physiotherapists, podiatrists, a psychologist and a psychology assistant. You will be work across the physiotherapy and occupational therapy departments. Ability to travel throughout Fife is essential.

You will contribute to service development, be expected at band 4 to work independently within agreed parameters and use outcome measures to evaluate practice. You will be involved training, audit and research programme as well as undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

Monthly supervision, Turas review and opportunities for continuous professional development are available.

Please note that this position will be either a Band 3 or Band 4, depending on experience.
