Eden brown synergy are currently working with Humber NHS who are looking for Band 6 Occupational Therapist.
System One (Training provided) IT Ward OT experience in Physical Rehabilitation
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, focusing on maximizing patients independence and functional abilities.
Deliver effective therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based techniques and approaches.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers, empowering them to participate in the rehabilitation process.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to relevant policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the Community and Acute Neuro settings.
Strong assessment, treatment planning, and intervention skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, prioritizing workload and managing time efficiently.
Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest research and best practices.
