This role will sit within the Regulatory remuneration team reporting on to EMEA head of regulatory remuneration policy. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the UK Compensation & Benefits Team and the local Remuneration Officer while contributing to the further development and documentation of local remuneration structures and initiatives.

Human Resources provide support and strategy at every level of Morgan Stanley’s business. It helps firm and business unit management with strategic direction in employee recruiting, retention, development, and compensation. HR generalists’ partner with individual business units to deliver services in data analysis, employee relations, compensation analysis and performance management. Other HR teams are product-focused, specialising in compensation, benefits, recruiting, reporting, and learning and development services.
Regulatory remuneration policy team works within the EMEA compensation team. The team is responsible for monitoring and implementing EMEA remuneration regulations, establishing/reviewing remuneration policies and processes in line with applicable regulation and filing all relevant disclosures/tables with the Regulators.
The team is composed of specialists that works closely with various internal and external stakeholders to understand and apply various EMEA regulations such as CRDV, UCITS V, IFD, IFPR etc. The team also works with the Regulatory remuneration data team to support regulatory submissions on an annual basis.
Supporting the annual review of Material Risk Taker identification frameworks and process
Preparing for Regulatory bodies and various internal Committees/Boards (i.e. Remuneration Committees)
Contact person and expert support for the Remuneration Officer as well as regular participation in respective senior management meetings
Ensuring Business partners/Business heads are informed of the regulations and impacts to their populations.
Modelling fixed pay allowances for EMEA
Enhancing analytics of the MRT populations and their remuneration
Building strong relationships with the Global Compensation teams in UK.
Secure formulation of policies and works agreements
QUALIFICATIONS

Robust experience with EU Remuneration regulations in financial services including IVV, CRDV, IFPR. IFD, UCITS etc.
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Thorough attention to detail with excellent prioritisation skills (can handle multiple projects at the same time)
Excellent analytical skills - Ability to understand, interpret and summarise complex regulatory and legislative texts
Reliable and meticulous with high standards for client service
Able to work with complexity and ambiguity to propose logical solutions to problems
Inquisitive, composed and self-confident (not afraid to ask questions or speak-up)
Thrives under pressure and enjoys a fast paced, dynamic environment
Compensation, HR Risk Management or Compliance background preferred
Secure in MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Proficiency in German and English, both written and verbal
