You'll be responsible for managing and continuously improving the global regulatory assurance programme. You'll be a proactive, high-performing candidate who is able to work independently, values responsiveness, and Is quick of the mark. You'll work closely with both 1st and 2nd line team to assure the regulatory policy and procedures are adhered to. In this role you will report to the Director of Risk Monitoring and testing.


Your Role In the team

  • Design, enhance and maintain the regulatory assurance programme
  • Contribute to Compliance processes by identifying opportunities for improved adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards
  • Execute project plans to address remediation efforts and testing review findings
  • Driving execution of multiple concurrent reviews which will be local and multi-jurisdictional, including subsequent management reporting related to review outcomes and findings
  • Challenge colleagues to build elite risk management controls and processes
  • Use data analytics to identify actionable insights which result in material enhancements to the control environment
  • Ad hoc assurance undertaking across UK, International and US markets.
  • Manage the test plan of regulatory continuous controls monitoring
  • Assurance testing of regulatory, Risk and Fraud and other 1st line activities.

What you'll need:

  • Highly organised in terms of planning and prioritisation of workload and effective time management skills.
  • Previous experience in a regulatory compliance capacity
  • Audit or Assurance role experience in a regulated industry
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills to hold the 1st Line of Defence accountable for Regulatory Compliance matters
  • Self-starter with an eye for detail, have an audit mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Gaming Experience is preferable but not essential
