About the role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Regulatory and Crime Paralegal to work within our growing team, based at our Halifax Office.
Experience is not necessary but preference will be given to candidates with appropriate experience or a background understanding of crime and/or motoring law gained during their studies or previous employment. Consideration will be given to those who otherwise demonstrate the skills and experience we are looking for.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and ambitious person who wants to develop their technical and communication skills further through working on a wide range of quality instructions. You would be working closely with senior members of the team with work including motoring, crime and sports law. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a commitment to excelling in customer service.
Applicants should possess the following skills and experience:
- a completed undergraduate degree (consideration will be given to those awaiting results)
- strong IT skills
- a high degree of initiative and the ability to manage your time and your workload effectively
- excellent communication skills and a desire to use these to promote the team and the firm both internally and externally
- a willingness to learn, to drive your own career progression and to be proactive in achieving this
