Job description
We are an independent small animal veterinary practice in Bexhill-on-sea, we started up during lockdown as a mobile practice to help out in hard times, now we’re almost ready to open the doors to our brand new surgery.
Our aim is to provide excellent veterinary care, exceptional customer service and most importantly, always putting the patient first. We don’t ask to up-sell care plans, just good old fashioned veterinary care!
We are looking to hire two experienced and confident Veterinary nurses to join our small and friendly team. The most important thing to us is finding the right candidate so we would happily consider full or part time with salaries negotiable depending on experience. There is also the option to progress to head nurse depending on experience. No weekend work is required and we are closed on bank holidays- sounds good, right?!
The job role consists of assisting during surgical procedures, general nursing care, nurse consults and anaesthetics. Your role would be split between working alongside the vet and working alone doing individual consultations. As we offer home visits, you would be carrying out mobile nurse consultations. These include nail clips, injections and second vaccinations, laser therapy and weight clinics.
We’re hoping to be open by Easter, just a few finishing touches to get the practice ready! We’re so proud of how far we have come in the last year, we have lots of brand new equipment ready to use including a full IDEXX in-house lab, Dental, X-ray, ultrasound and more.
