About the Nursing Home:
Situated in a residential area of Wednesfield, West Midlands, this 77 bedded home is situated in its own pleasant grounds and provides general and dementia nursing care. Accommodation is provided in single en-suite rooms that are arranged over two floors. Communal areas include two dining rooms, two lounges on each floor and a hairdressing salon. Staff encourage their residents to be as active, and to retain as much of their independence, as possible. The focus at Bentley Court is to maximise the potential of the individual at any stage of their life enabling them to focus on their abilities.

The role of a Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) within the Nursing Home involves:
- Ensuring the care, welfare and safety of all residents is maintained at the highest possible standard.
- Completing physical/psychological assessments of new residents on admission.
- Creating individualised care plans for residents.
- Updating care plans daily.
- Safely administering and recording of medication.
- Liaising effectively with external suppliers and health care providers.
- Monitoring and developing performance of care staff.
- Ensuring effective rotas are in place.
- Use a person-centred approach to ensure every individual’s needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity, and respect.
Requirements for the Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) role:
- You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN /RNLD)
- Active PIN or awaiting your NMC PIN
- Clear DBS.
