Health Sciences & Wellbeing - School of Nursing and Health Sciences
The University of Sunderland is in an exciting phase of it's development with a new vision and redefined strategic ambitions designed to take advantage of the ever-changing higher education landscape at home and overseas.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development and training of prospective nurses undergoing the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship in the vibrant School of Nursing and Health Sciences and to contribute to the promotion of teaching, research and reach-out activities across the faculty. You will join our creative team of nurse educators and contribute to our thriving partnership with schools. The Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship is an established programme and students are selected from our partner NHS and private providers.
We are working with Spire Healthcare with a 'grow your own' nursing workforce model, therefore, you will be joining a team of Lecturer / Clinical Link Tutors supporting the delivery of the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship across the Spire Network. You will be required to travel to destinations across England in order to support the apprentices.
You will have a Degree and preferably a post graduate qualification, either in education or specialist clinical practice and have wide experience of and be passionate about supporting students in practice. If you hold the skills and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
Please note this post is fixed term for up to 3 years which will be reviewed as the programme develops.
