We have an exciting opportunity for a Physical Therapies Technician to join our established Family Wellbeing and Outreach Team.
Tŷ Hafan is a beautiful children’s hospice, located on the picturesque Vale of Glamorgan coastline. Covering the South, East, and West of Wales Tŷ Hafan offers a beautiful, newly refurbished working environment set in idyllic grounds a short distance from the metropolitan area of Cardiff.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Physical Therapies Service. We are looking to recruit a permanent, Physical Therapies Technician to support our current delivery of Paediatric Palliative care. The role supports the Tŷ Hafan Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist in carrying out their roles providing specialist palliative care services, both at the hospice and in community settings. The post holder will provide a high standard of family centred care to children, young people and their families with the aim of optimising independence and function, and promoting physical wellbeing. This includes clinical and administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the service.
Hours for the role are 30 hours per week, ideally either 4 x 7.5 hour days or 5 x 6 hour days, with flexibility to cover occasional weekend or early evening work.
The post holder will be based at the Hospice site but will need to travel across the Ty Hafan catchment area.
