Registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN number

Night shifts, 36 hours per week

Location: Winwick, Warrington, WA2

About the Home:

With a recent CQC rating of good the care home provides care for up to 42 residents. The service is able to provide support for residential care, nursing care, palliative care, cancer care, visual, speech and hearing impairments and Parkinson’s disease.

There is on-site parking available for visitors, and the home is situated close to public transport, making it easy to access for visitors and for residents to get out and about in the local area.

Requirements:

  • Active UK NMC PIN number
  • Available for an immediate start
  • Administer medication safely
  • Good write and spoken of English
  • Experience in the UK is mandatory
  • Create and update individualized care plans and documentation
  • Deliver hands-on nursing care to ensure the well-being and health of our residents
  • Have an excellent understanding of the standards set by CQC
  • Able to work flexible shift patterns, 7-day over rota

Nurse Responsibilities

  • Leading the care team during your shifts
  • Make certain that we fully meet residents’ medical, physical and emotional requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework
  • Mentor and motivate colleagues
  • Champion residents’ safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensuring optimum client care is maintained by managing patient care plans and risk assessments
  • Providing a highest standard of quality care of patients
  • Promote and maintain high standards of clinical practice
  • To assess, plan, deliver and evaluate resident care in order to achieve the highest standards of contemporary care
