Fitness and Wellbeing Advisor – Corporate

We have a unique full-time vacancy for a Fitness & Wellbeing Advisor to join our small team, based on a Prestigious Corporate site at Barclays Technology Centre Radbroke, Knutsford, Cheshire.
The Role
On a Corporate site the role of Wellbeing Advisor is diverse to include Front of House administration duties - giving you the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and personal exercise programming that really makes a difference to on-site employees’ health and wellbeing. Sharing our passion for the health of others, as a Fitness & Wellbeing Advisor, you will also enjoy scope to change lives for the better.
As a Wellbeing Advisor you will:
- Provide a professional and efficient customer service to everyone who enters the facility. - Be responsible for Fitness floor supervision through to wellbeing plans and exercise programmes.
- Be competent in administration duties; membership sales, activity bookings, reporting, banking, client event support etc.
- Deliver a range of group exercise and spin classes.
- Promote and carry out our unique Health MOT; a health assessment which enables members to work towards manageable personal goals and empowers them to make changes to their health, fitness and lifestyle.
- Ensuring everyone is assessed and inducted before using the facilities, supporting with expert guidance on safe and efficient exercise techniques, training and lifestyle needs.
- Support the Programme Manager with day-to-day operational requirements.
- Possess an eagerness to support client events and projects.
To succeed as a Fitness & Wellbeing Advisor you will have:
- Level 3 Personal Training certificate - Mandatory
- A strong background of success in either a Corporate or Consumer Fitness environment.
- Experience of teaching group exercise classes, performing fitness assessments and delivering great training, using your own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach.
- Strong computer skills, including the use of Word and Excel.
- You will also be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual.
This 40-hour role will be on a shift pattern as follows: - Monday 06:15-14:15 / Tuesday 12:00-20:00 / Wednesday 10:00–18:00
- Thursday & Friday are on a 3-week rotation – including any of the above shifts.
- Flexibility to change shifts at short notice due to operational requirements is required.
- A willingness to support annual leave cover would be advantageous.
- There is also an opportunity to drive a Personal Training business (outside of these working hours) at £30.00 per hour.
