We are an innovative and dynamic Emergency Department with excellent performance in all the quality indicators such as the 4-hour performance target and our achievements and high-quality care have been widely recognised. We consistently rank in the top ten of high performing Emergency Departments in the Country with a strong ethos of providing high quality care whilst supporting our ambulances back into the community in a timely manner. We are extremely proud that our Emergency Department continues to be the best performing Trust in the region based on percentage of crews waiting over 30 mins.
As we are a 24-hour service the shifts reflect this however we understand the need for a realistic work life balance and aim to be as flexible as possible. We endeavour to support the individual with a rota that not only supports the safety of the department but also the individual.
As a Band 5 registered nurse you will be working in a highly demanding and diverse environment ensuring that high standards of care are delivered. This is a rewarding yet challenging role where you will prioritise patient care using early warning scores and your own clinical judgement to identify patients at risk of deterioration and ensure appropriate action is taken.
