Are you a skilled and compassionate adult nurse looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on someone's life?
We are seeking dedicated nurses to provide exceptional care and support to a 19-year-old individual with complex medical needs.
Our client is a vibrant and resilient 19-year-old who loves listening to pop music and enjoys going out for day trips. Despite facing challenges due to cerebral palsy, chronic lung disease they remain optimistic and enthusiastic about life.
Duties include but not are not limited to:
- Nasal Pharyngeal Suctioning: Expertly removing secretions to maintain clear airway
- Oral Suctioning: Ensuring oral hygiene and managing secretions.
- Nasal Pharyngeal Airway Care/Insert: Skilled maintenance and insertion of airway tubes to facilitate breathing.
- Administration of Nebulisers via Ventilator: Competently administering medications using nebulizers while managing ventilator settings.
- Administration of Buccal Medication: Safely administering medications through the buccal route.
- Care and Use of Gastrostomy: Proficiently managing and maintaining the gastrostomy tube
