Job description
Leadership - To lead the Quality and governance agenda across radiology services, Proactively lead the decision making process, collecting and analysing information in order to make effective decisions in complex situations Line management and performance management Service Delivery: Accountable for the service delivery across all Radiology locations, ensuring the provision of high quality clinical care. Challenge existing practices, ensuring that progressive solutions, which take into account models of best practice, are incorporated into service plans. Support teams to deliver service redesign projects Provide professional leadership to the Matron and all nursing staff across Radiology Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, health and safety standards Healthcare Standards: maintain and improve standards of nursing practice Ensure the service meets/exceeds healthcare standards specifically leading on the National Safety Standards for Invasive Procedures See job description for further details
