The Emergency Dept at Salford Care Organisation, as part of an ongoing investment in nursing is committed to the ongoing recruitment of Qualified Nurses.
As part of this process we now have RN vacancies to work in our state of the art Emergency Department. This stunning facility allows us to deliver excellent care to our patients and give us every opportunity to be the best in the North-West.
Main duties of the job
We are part of the Greater Manchester Trauma network associated with our status as the Neurosciences Centre for Greater Manchester
We offer excellent support, detailed in-house and external training and career development opportunities.
You will be RN (Adult)/RGN qualified with 12 months post registration experience and have a commitment in progressing within the specialty as demonstrated in your professional portfolio.

- Degree in nursing studies
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential criteria
- Post registration experience (relevant experience preferred, ie ED or critical care or evidence of working in an area of high patient turnover and associated pressures such as EAU)
- Evidence of involvement in teaching and mentoring learners
- Evidence of CPD
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of supervision
- Awareness of ED political agenda and how their role as an RN will contribute to achieving targets / quality indicators
