The West Lothian Integrated Respiratory Team provides a specialist multi-disciplinary community based respiratory service to optimise the self management of people who have a confirmed long term respiratory condition.
This post holder will work alongside the Respiratory Facilitator and wider multi-disciplinary team reviewing people within a clinical setting and/or peoples own homes. This will include a review of condition management, inhaler technique assessment, medication review and follow up/annual assessment of housebound people on long term oxygen therapy.
An interest/knowledge of the respiratory speciality is desirable. Support/supervision and additional speciality training will be provided.
