We are currently looking for experienced Band 5 / band 6 Nurses to come and join our team as a Band 6 Sister on our surgical Ward at Broomfield Hospital
Rayne ward is part of the the surgical division for Mid and South Essex, undertaking general surgical procedures. The ward also provides high quality care and rehabilitation for patients recovering from surgery for a variety of conditions.
Our ward prides itself in providing a high standard of patient care, experience, and quality service. Our team is friendly, supportive, vibrant and dynamic. everyone is encouraged to participate as a member of the team in developing their nursing skills. We offer a structured band 6 competency programme and support to complete mandatory training. We also apply for post graduate courses as they become available.
All applicants do need to have motivation, flexibility, enthusiasm be hardworking and a willingness to learn quickly.

Band 6 charge/sister, responsibility of managing a 32 bed ward and working closely with the senior sister in staff development and progression.
Provide a high standard of individualised care to patients, acting as a role model and supporting the Senior Sister/Charge nurse in driving quality care provision forward
Be responsible for standards of cleanliness in their own clinical area in partnership with the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse
Provide clear clinical leadership to staff, deputising for the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in her/his absence
